Pink Opal Hand Knotted Mala
Tibetan Style Mala
Pink Opal is a variety of Common Opals that are more opaque and do not carry that “opal fire”. It is a lovely stone to keep with you as it helps to bring the joy back into your life. Use Pink Opal when you need to get rid of old patterns that are no longer working for you, as well as giving you insight into ways that will help to enhance your emotional, spiritual and intellectual self. You can use this “stone of renewal” to aide in your journey of self-acceptance and love. Pink Opal can keep you calm and centered.
Physically, Pink Opal soothes irritated skin; helps with issues relating to the lungs, heart, liver and spleen; is beneficial for those with hypoglycemia and diabetes.
Opals are used to celebrate and honor Cerdea, the Roman Goddess of Doorways and Entry. Put one near your front door to welcome guests. It is also used for honoring Chirakan-Ixmucane, the Mayan Creator Goddess; Cyhiraeth, the Welsh Goddess of Streams and Brooks; Dana, the Celtic River Goddess; Ixchel, the Mayan Goddess of Childbirth; and Persephone, Queen of the Underworld.
Opal is used in meditations in which you seek to reaffirm your connection with the earth and her spirit. The flow of love from the nurturing planet is facilitated with the use of a boulder opal bright with the colors of the earth and her glory. Mostly this is a soothing, calming, grounding crystal that reconnects you with the elemental joy of the natural world.
Note: Because Opals contain water, do not leave them in sunlight or they will become brittle and break.
